Senior Yorkie Talker | Amazes me how some people would put an innocent animal down without giving it a fighting chance. What you're doing for the pup is incredible, I'd do the same thing in a heartbeat! I just can't stand by and let something happen to an animal without at least giving it a chance, besides all animals do is love us unconditionally, shouldn't we do the same for them?! I hope you hear something soon and that the pup will be ok! |

| Update!! Hi everyone. Just popping on to update. Had nothing much to tell until about an hour ago. I got a call from the animal center where the pup is being held. They called to thank me and tell me that one of the vets there that has been monitoring Eddie (As they called him) is going to take him home and foster him. I'm really thrilled. I don't think you can get better then having a vet take the pup. He is touch and go right now with an upper respiratory infection and he's not eating too well, so the hospital is thrilled that a vet stepped up to foster. He'll go home with the vet at night and then stay at the 24 hour care center during the day with the vet. I'm very happy. Really. The last think I needed was a sick Yorkie to take in but I certainly would have done it, if this is what needed to be done. Thanks everyone for your concern and replies. Elaine |
