Penny is so far " standrad " color eveywhere else but her little chest was a bigger white patch then the standard allows shes 3 months old will this go away? She is a parti-gene carrier does this have anything to do with it? not like a care if shes purple just wondering

| This is just a guess and nothing more, but it's my thinking that perhaps she will be a lighter color yorkie. Did you see both of her parents? Were either of them lighter color?

| Jada is almost 3 and she has a small white patch on her chest area. It is not noticeable it is really low on her chest. She is tan on the face and legs but her saddle area is black.

| Cody had white on his chest and 3 of his feet, no it isn't a parti gene and more than likely it will fade. Its been 3 months and Cody's is pretty much gone. |

Most parti carriers have some sort of white makings that usually do not go away. I have two parti carriers that have kept their white markings.

| Carmel has it too!! The white on the chest, he had it since I got him but it never faded. My breeder said his grandpa was a white yorkie, which I think a parti yorkie. He had white on his two back paws (which was why we picked him) but those white markings are gone. The chest is still as white as it was so we'll see... |

| Dezi also has a white chest. at 10 months it isn't changing, still pure white he is really getting a lot of silver in his black colour now though. His mother was a total silver colour. Last edited by YorkieD; 02-27-2010 at 04:49 AM. |

| My little Neo had no sign of any white on him when he was a baby, but he developed a white blaze on his chest and a little "soul patch" on his chin when he was around two and a half months old. The breeder said he has "some" parti in him . He looks like your standard yorkie and at ten months he is starting to develop some blue on his upper front legs. He is such a handsome boy! |
