A great clipper that is definately very safe and small enough to use on yorkies is the Whal Peanut. Can be purchased at Sally's

DEF do the trimming - my girls always smell great - but I keep them trimmed myself - just be careful if using electric/battery trimmers - they can get razor burn easily - so go lightly - it only takes a few gentle swipes and you can clean up that 'area'
