Thor's Human Donating Member | Cute stuff your yorkie does I finally figured something out about Thor the other day: he loves plush toys with floppy limbs that really fly around when he shakes his head from side to side. It's pretty hilarious watching him turn into the Great White Hunter. That got me thinking about other cute stuff he does. For instance, whenever we are play fighting over a toy, he invariably drops the toy and tries to roll over it on his back. After a year of watching him do this, I think I figured out what he is going for: IF the toy is small enough, and IF it's kind of wedged into a corner on the couch, he can cover it with his body, and guard it really well. 99.9% of the time though, he's not much bigger than the toy, and he gets stuck trying to roll himself on top of it. So basically, the toy is lying next to him, ripe for the taking, and he's waving his legs in the air, trying to figure out what's wrong. It's the worst toy-guarding technique I've ever seen, but he never gives up on it. He's also a very enthusiastic practitioner of the "army crawl". Someone at the door? Getting a treat? Playing a game? They're all better after a nice six foot crawl on your belly. Take it from Thor. Finally, I know Thor is not the only dog who does this, but when he eats, he always takes one kibble at a time and runs all the way down to the other end of my apartment to eat it. He also enjoys standing on his potty pad while eating - apparently, it can double as a dinner mat. Your turn. |

| I have one that for the last few months she headbutts me She will go to the furthest part of my bed and come "crash" to my nose. I think it is a strange way to wake me up for a potty break but it is kind of cute I am glad I sleep really lite because now when she leaves my side I can sit up, but she still gets me every now and then. Some of the things they do are so cute, I can never have a bad day for very long because they always find a way to change it I have another that has to do her "army crawl" under the covers before she will get out of bed in the morn. |

| Smokey does the army crawl thing. He's our ninja dog. There is also a toy in particular in our toy box that is floppy and he thrashes that thing around like crazy. It's plastic squeaky on the ends and floppy in the middle. Sometimes he'll thrash toys around and it will fling all the way across the room then he'll look around like "huh? where'd it go?" My favorite is when no one is paying attention to him, he'll get a tennis ball and throw it in the air and try to catch it. Sometimes he'll even roll over on his back and take a toy between his paws and throw it in the air. He also spins in the air when he gets excited. Oh and when you blow on his face lightly, he'll try to lick you. If you blow on his face harder, he'll lick faster. Chip will always lick my feet when I cover up with a blanket. As soon as I even pull out a blanket from the closet, he'll be right at my heals and ready to lick my feet. And he has to start going under the blanket from my chest and crawl all the way to my feet. He'll lick and lick until he falls asleep and he'll stay there all night. Very rarely he'll get hot and sleep outside of the blanket by my feet but in the morning he'll get up, get back under the blanket and fall asleep with only his little nose peeking out. I also think it's adorable how much of a little baby he acts like. You can hold him like a baby and he'll just lay there. He makes me laugh when we come home and he's jumping up and down to reach your face enough to give you kisses. What cracks me up is if you are laying down, he'll put his paw on whatever it is he's trying to lick as if to say "ha-ha you are pinned. you can't move!" When he plays he'll be growling and have his little butt in the air but if you put your hand about 6 inches in front of his face, he'll ram his face with the toy in his mouth right in your hand, but when you try to grab the toy he runs off. Can you tell I love my boys?

| Maggie will paw at me to massage her ears. lol. And then when I'm are typing on the keyboard and she attention, she paws at my hands to pay attention to her. They both have pillows on my desk, lol. Hot Rod will just push his way in between my arms while I'm typing to lay down, as he is alseep on my left arm right now. It's not easy typing with a yorkie on your arm let me tell you. But then I have lots of practice with this since this is his favorite spot.

Thor's Human Donating Member | Oh, forgot about one! I've been teaching Thor the "lift" command. I kind of need to split it into two commands, one just to let him know he's going to be picked up, and one if I want him to jump into my arms (I read that this is a good one if your dogs get attacked outside). Anyway, a lot of time he paws at me so I'll pick him up and put him on my desk (of course he has a bed at the foot of my desk and ON my desk). So I'll put my hand down, palm up, and say "Lift!". Then he wraps his front paws around my forearm and kind of does this little hop. Super cute. He doesn't really get the mechanics of it, so sometimes he'll grab onto the back of my arm, which is totally unhelpful in picking him up. He always does the hop, though. | Laci just started doing the funniest thing, at night we play keep away ( its her favorite game) I sit at one end of the hall and my daughter at the other, we throw the ball back and forth and she tries to get it.. she is so quick she will get it quite a few times... so once she is really tired and needs a drink , she takes her ball and plops it right in her water bowl and drinks around it so we cant play with out her, its hyllarious!!

YT 500 Club Member | When my two play fight they'll both stand up on they're hind leggs and box like a couple of march hares. If they're having an attack of the zoomies they'll both stop at the same time, go to the water bowl together and drink, then start running together at the same time. When Rosie meats a new dog she'll stand up on her back feet, wrap her paws around the other dogs muzzel and touch its nose with hers, everyone thinks its sooo cute. The lastest was last week, Rosie always waits till Alfie finishes his food before eating hers, Alfie goes and sits somewhere away from the bowls as he really wants her food but knows he cant touch it. Last Monday he went and sat in the kitchen, right in the oorway, Rosie saw him and went and sat infront of him and just stared at him. |

| Yorkies are truly amazing little stinker's I think. Buddy gives me the biggest kick when I sit down the first thing he does is stick his nose in my slipper by the arch in my foot because he can remove the slipper that way in an instant and takes off with it. A minute later he'll return to take the other one. Of course I yell and make believe he can't have it allowing him too and he thinks he's doing something he's not suppose to all the while I'm allowing him too. He does this daily and when I go get them it's so funny because he can't guard two and he get's so upset deciding which one to take off with |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Aww!!! How cute, all the stories!! ZZ has a (Princess) toybox where I ATTEMPT to keep her toys put away at. However, after I have done that she takes it into her own to take them ALL out and strategically place then so I will be sure to step on them! In the mornings she is always on her back with her hands over her eyes like the little eye masks and her head on the pillow with her bottom half under the blanket...Just like me I guess. Whenever I go outside to do whatever (take the trash, feed the chick chicks, etc) I tell her she can't go and she isn't invited to the get together and she will shake my pants leg and growl and rough me up a little bit, however, still getting to go wherever I go.. Spoiled k-9 American. =)

YT 2000 Club Member | I love it when Jasmine is tired from playing and snuggles close to me and lets out her big sigh, like "now I am here beside Mommy everything is ok". I think this is absolutely adorable.

| Too many cute things! Let's see... Kaji grumbles like an old man when he's sleeping. Like right now, he's curled up into a little ball asleep on my lap. I had to lean forward to type which unfortunately moves him out of his sleeping place, he grumbled. If he can't get comfortable, he grumbles. His new eating routine, play first, go to the bowl, grab one piece of kibble, walk back to mommy, eat. Go back for another piece of kibble, start walking back to mommy, make it only half way because the kibble is just so yummy, go back for another piece. Sometimes it only takes 3 trips before he decides to stay at the bowl until he's full. We've gone as far as 9! This is the latest. Kaji never showed interest in ANY toys when he first came home. I was so bummed since I bought a special toy for him. Today, his favorite is the squeaky ball. He just learned to catch it in his mouth when I toss it! I love it!

I think the cutest thing Uni does is rest her chin on everything. If she's sitting on my lap her chin must be in crook of elbow. If she's in the backseat of the car while we eat fast food in the front, her chin is resting on the middle console while she is still standing up in the feet section of the back. Once her body was in a laying position with her butt on the backseat and her front paws on the console, and nothing under her belly, if that makes sense. She makes the saddest puppy dog eyes just to make us give her some bread. Totally knows how to act to make us feel guilty of not spoiling her. If I am feeding her by hand, if I'm not feeding her fast enough she taps her nose on the bowl, like hurry up! She knows she's not supposed to bark, so to get my attention from the computer she will whine but sounds like a cat meowing. When it's cold in the mornings, she will not get out of bed. She will stay under the covers while I get ready, but as soon as she sees me pick up the cell phone and water bottle, she hops right out of bed! If she's got to go pee in the middle of the night, she will get up by my ear and whine really softly to just wake me up and not daddy When I leave the shop to go do errands, when I come back, even though she has not been waiting at the door the whole time, as soon as I pull into my parking space i see her big ears and cute face pop up looking through the glass in the door.

| Gatsby will sit on my side in the morning and lick at my face or ear until i get up and take him out if i don't get up right away he will start to wine and almost whistle(well its almost a trill i cant explain it)andstand on his back legs to wake up mommy also this summer he needed a blood transfusion and i nearly lost him he was very weak and laid around the house so after he got home from the hospital if he was laying down what i deemed to long i rushed over cuddled him and checked his gums so now if he wants attention he will lay on his back on the couch and make wuffling noises like he dosent have the energy to bark on a adult note if my boyfriend and i are in the bed room with the door closed he stand outside and yowls like hes being murdered (we noticed he only dose this if the tv is turned off like he knows what going on)

| Chip "attacks" my shoes as I put them on. First he started with my pants... as I'd be putting them on, he'd jump on them growling in hopes he'd pull the out of my hand... he actually made me fall a couple times. I guess he realized that wasn't working to keep me home, so he start jumping on my shoes, growling, to knock them out of my hand. When he succeeds, he just stands in front of me wagging his little tail.
