I was looking at puppy sites and came across this one : Cassies Closet.....

She has a yorkie listed for $15,000.00

I thought I was reading it wrong !

She had another listed for $10,000.00 but it says it was sold

I mean... I know I think my baby is priceless , but come on !!!!!

My butt is still sore from where I fell off my chair

If she got that much for a dog I will eat dog poo!! She is using all those "BAD" words when selling toy dogs. micro, teacup, teddy bear face,oh and the 10k pup is APRI registered.. Not even AKC. Saying the pup is a micro and 11 ounces does not mean that pup will stay small. ughhhh..

Makes me sick to see money grubbers..

if she is using the APRI she is probably banned from AKC!

OMG! I am really under priced!! LOL I have had calls the last couple days and some has hung up on me... rofl!

They are brokers and state: "Cassie's Closet prides itself on offering superior quality puppies from highly reputable breeders".

No highly reputable breeder I'm aware of would broker their pups!

ROFLMAO!!! Yes you need to raise your prices at least a few grand more..just a bit

It seems I see people buying these really expensive yorkies A LOT, people like this lady are selling these pups sometimes better than your reputable breeders. I think that people buying these dogs are getting something very rare and because of the price think the pups are Superior.

One of my friends wasn't getting any bites on the last few pups she had so instead of lowering their prices she increased the price and all of a sudden everyone wanted one.

People confuse me

I missed all that. She had to much on her web site and I left.. To busy looking and no paragraphs drive me absolutely insane!! LOL.. But I am not surprised.

It did cross my mind when I saw the diff prices and no whole litters being sold that she might be selling for others.. I see a lot of web sites like that now. they advertise for the breeders, while the breeders have the actual pups, and when one is sold through her she gets a percentage.

This is how they get around the brokerage laws and licensing since they actually never buy the pups or have them in their possession.

You know, after going back and reading, this is a PET STORE!! One of those "upper class" ones.. Actually more like a puppy store since they only sell dogs and doggy items, and high end dog clothing..

Wow!!! it does look sickly...poor baby!!! I feel so bad for her and the others.

I noticed she's in Florida...I've seen a lot of yorkies in rescues in FL Anyone know what's up with that? Are they becoming the new hot bed for puppy mills? Just asking...don't mean to offend anyone.

Well, FL is one of the worst places for forclosures and when that happens people have to move. Many appartments do not allow pets and some people can barely afford rent much less caring for a pet. This includes people who have lost jobs and other things. Sadly, pets are one of the first things to let go of when you are broke. As far as puppy mills, I am sure we have them but FL does have a very strict puppy lemon law, not sure how far that gets people though.

I agree wholy mackral I never heard of such a thing. It must talk in 5 different languages. Have esp and knows eactly what you want from it and be trained! lol

I wouldn't want a puppy that weighs 8 oz at 9 weeks! No offense to the puppy, and I know it happens once in a while, but it takes someone VERY special to deal with a dog that size. My puppies were 1 lb 8 oz at 9 weeks and they are going to be pretty small themselves - probably only about 4 1/2 - 5 pounds. I don't think she looks that healthy and to ask 15K for her is crazy.

Don't mean to be rude but I don't see anything special about any of the puppies...they're cute, but not THAT cute. It amazes me at what some people are willing to pay
