| Please help I have to start giving Peanut a pill in the morn and night.. For now I just sprinkle it over a little cottege cheese or yogurt, but I dont ALWAYS want to give him dairy. What else would be easy and healthy to give him.. I was thinking of some veggies or fruit.. but I am not sure what is ok for him to have.... Please any advice would be great!

| as long as it's a piece just large enough to disguise I would think so. I give Sugar about 1/8 cup of homemade yogurt or a TBS or two of cottage cheese a day and she's about 3 and a half pounds (gained a bit recently )

| hmm Well these pills are in a little cap and you sprinkle the pill powder over something... so its not as easy as wrapping the "pill" up..

| when Sugar was on antibiotics I would sprinkle the powder on her meat/cheese and put it in her mouth. She would "make a face" and do the whole chewing with the tongue out thing but she would eat it

| When my Casey was alive (a very mixed breed), she took pills the last 2 years of her life 2x/daily. I'd put them in peanut butter or cheese. But, of course, I had to give Pippi (a yorkie) a little treat, too but I'd give her cheese. NEVER peanut butter, simply b/c of the high sugar content and yorkie's proclivity to tooth decay. So, I'd try cottage cheese or cheese, simply to avoid the sugar. Dairy 2/daily is fine, according to my vet. |

| I break up the pill, and then give each tiny piece a small coating of peanut butter. She gobbles the pieces right up.
