| asking to be picked up Does any ones yorkie do the I surrender thing or stand on there back legs with arms up like a baby wanting to be picked up? When Callie is running around trying to play chase me and not wanting to get picked up due to whatever reason (hyper, doesn't want her meds or something) if she gets to a place like the hallway where there is no where to go she will throw her front legs in the air standing on just her back legs as if to say ok mommy fine you win. Whenever she wants to be picked up due to being scared or like when we went to the ER vet she stands on her back legs with her front paws up to be picked up and placed on my hip like a baby or if she just knows its time to be picked up because we are going somewhere. She doesn't even have to have her front paws on something for balance most of the time.

| My little girl Daisy Mae does the wanting to be picked up thing. I think it is so cute. She is the one that goes to work with my DH most every day. (he wanted a big dog, then fell in love with Daisy Mae, now he takes her as his truck dog.. lol it is so sweet) It makes me feel good to know she misses me and she is so happy to se me when she comes home. She also does the same thing for my DH in the morning when she knows it is getting close to leaving time. |

| I thought Zeke was the only one. I think it is so cute. If I don't respond quick enough he will tap me with his nose (usually if he is scared). He has been doing this ever since we brought him home. |

YT 2000 Club Member | Jasmine does this also. She will stand on her hind legs with her front paws raised in the air just like my kids used to do when they wanted to be held. Jasmine is a true little lap girl. She likes to be carried and held most of the time. I think she truly believes she is my baby. When she lays beside me she likes to rest her head on my arm just like my kids use to do too. She is my little sweeite pie!

| Bella stands on her hind legs and taps my leg for attention when she wants "up", especially if I'm in the kitchen cooking. She knows where the food comes from |

| My Emmie will do the wanting to be picked up thing. She will only do it for me. She will not do it for my husband or daugher. It is so cute most of the time. If I don't get her soon enough I get the bark. She has a way about getting my attention.

| I don't know why but there are 2 places that Max will stand and then paw me (dig) until I pick him up. At the kitchen sink and when I'm standing in front of the washing machine. hahaha! Otherwise he'll just walk in front of me, turn around, and stand in the direction I like to pick him up at. I'm a big woman and he likes to get waaay up on my chest and then wrap his head around my neck - and mind you HE's a big boy - it's quite a scene.
