Desperately Seeking Yorkie I found this forum while looking for a Yorkie puppy online. Two months ago I lost my little Daisy (AKC - blue and gold). She was 15 yrs. old, my shadow and the best little dog in the whole wide world. My eyes are permanently puffy from crying so much. It hasn't helped that in the past five years I also lost my other Yorkie to diabetes and pancreatitis, both my parents passed away, my best friend committed suicide, and my husband had a liver transplant. I am mentally exhausted, but I am very clear on one thing ... I need a Yorkie puppy ... now. I live in West Texas and would appreciate any help. This is my second post. I don't think the first one took, so sorry if this is a repeat. I'll read all the YorkieTalk rules tomorrow. Thanks, Zen

Hi and welcome, so sorry you lost your Daisy. If you look at the top of the page and select forums, than look for Yorkies for sale or look in the breeders section. Hopefully someone will have a little one for you. Good Luck

thanks for the welcome - I have already found two local breeders that have the mommy and daddy as pets, and the puppies are in their house instead of a kennel. zen

Nursing mom with diarrhea Hello everyone ! I'm new on this forum I'm sure I will enjoy it I do need some info from you guys. My nursing yorkie has had diarrhea for the last few days. She has been on puppy food since the last trimester of her pregnancy and was doing fine. Since last night I have put her on rice and chicken and the diarrhea seems to have stopped. She as never experienced this before so this is all new to me to. The pups are 4 weeks old now and are eating so that gives her a break I am also supplemented them with formula for puppies. Has anybody ever had this problem? thank you

May I suggest you repost this message to the Breeders section, or maybe the Emergency/Sick section? Someone there will be more able to answer your questions; this section is more for generalized Chit/Chat. But welcome to YorkieTalk ... just post in the proper section and you'll get a quicker answer. | |
