| I like to teach mine, sit, stay, sit purty, dance (that's doing a circle on two legs), crawl, roll over, and Moka will go and get her humping monkey before she will go to bed. I don't know if that is a trick or a necessity.

| Fiona knows how to sit, lay down, put her head down, wait for a treat, and if you hide under a blanket she will find you when you say " help! help! "

| I started teaching Josh tricks when he was a puppy. I taught Josh the following tricks: rollover, beg, fetch, speak, sit, stay, come, and spin. My Shih Tzu can do all of those tricks except for fetch, because she dislikes that game. My Shih Tzu does one cool trick that I love. She jumps in the air when I say jump. Right now, I am teaching my dogs to twirl like a ballerina on their hind legs. I would like to teach them the crawl trick after they master the twirl trick. I love to teach my dogs tricks, and they love to get the food reward. |

| I started when Jackson was around 10 weeks old! He's done great since then. He knows sit, stay, down, come, roll over, shake, high-five, ten-five, bang bang you're dead, dance, crawl, spin, sit pretty (sort of, he still has bad balance), limp, drop it (when he wants to), leave it and we're working on take a bow and shoot a ball through a basketball hoop! I find it to be sooo much fun and so rewarding once they learn the trick! It's a great way to bond with your dog! www.loveyourdog.com/tricks.html is a good site, there's a ton of videos out on youtube, check out Zak George. Here's a thread I started on here http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/tra...-progress.html for trick training etc.
