| I need help. Please? :( My yorkie is acting weird too. I just got him a couple of days ago. The first day went fine.. he's running and playing around the house. He jumps when there's food and all. He's really playful during the first 3 days. Then something happened. he fell down 3 flights of stairs on his attempt to go down and play with me. From then on, he's a lil dull. He sleeps all the time and going outside doesn't excite him at all. He doesn't play much now. Is it because he's having a hard time adopting to his new environment? or is it TRAUMA? Or maybe the food he's eating? By the way, he doesn't wanna eat the dog food I just bought in the market. I tried putting it in milk and warm water too but still failed. So I had no hoice but to feed him with people food. Please...I need help!! it's my first yorkie everrr! |

| If he was fine until he fell down three flights of stairs it is very likely that he has been injured, you should consider taking him to the Vet.

| 3 FLIGHTS of stairs? or 3 steps? He is most likely injured, it might be just bruising, or it could be a concussion. He definitely needs to be seen by a vet. Aslo do not give him cows milk. Get canned goats milk and maybe some baby rice cereal. But if he was eating fine before, I would not think it is the food. How old is he and what does he weigh Last edited by JeanieK; 12-07-2009 at 06:05 AM. |

| You really must take him to the vet. It sounds like concussion to me & you cannot treat it yourself or just hope it will go away. He may well have an internal bleed. If you don't get veterinary help the most likely thing is that you will lose him. Sorry if this scares you but this is IMPORTANT xx Meggie |
