| How do I fix this? I have Ace (10months) and Sookie and Godric (19 weeks) and well .....Sookie and Godric go crazy right at bedtime! Like they have been snorting sugar or something!!! Ace will start to bark and bark and bark at everything they do! I think he gets annoyed after he gets tired of playing with them. Also if they get into something they shouldnt Ace will bark at the like crazy...like he is telling on them! Anyway...I have tried to seperate the 3 at night but that doesnt work cause they whine and whimper. I have seperated just Ace and that works out better but....after awhile they come and scratch at the door for him or I get woried because then I wont know if they are getting into anything without my little tattle teller. Ace seems better at night when he is with us and will go to sleep but I can still hear the other two like speeding bullets just running around like crazy!!! I mean like crazy! I know that they calm down after awhile but before I brought Ace I know these spurts happen 2 - 3 times in the middle of the night because of Aces barking. I would have to get up and hush Ace up and the other 2 are just crazy hyper. Does anyone have suggestions?? As of now the 2 are asleep and are that way most of the day. I know this is probably part of the problem but I need advice as to how to change this!!! |

| Have you tried taking them for a long walk, or playing with them to try to get them tuckered out!?

Donating YT 500 Club Member | It sounds like they may have a case of the 'zoomies'! Roxy usually had the zoomies around bed time. We loved watching her & had lots of laughs. She had them mostly at night & more often when she was younger. She still has a more active period at night before bed, but not as intense. I miss the hard core zoomies. If yours are young, just sit back & enjoy it. We didn't try to fix it.

Actually no....We do all our playing from like 2 to 6. (kids get home from school and have a blast with them) How long before bedtime would you suggest we try that? We go to bed about 9:30 - 9:45.

Oh I agree! Cute as heck and funny too......but like I said i know it happens thoughout the night in spurts and I already wake up at least once with my 2 year old coming in at night and at least 3 times with the furbabies....I guess Im just wondering if it pipes down and how long before it does. (i guess Im a lil sleep deprived and its not fun being exhuasted the next day and having a full schedule....7 kids!)

| Zeke has the same problem. He has so much energy before he goes to bed. He will bark and nip at our legs to get our attention. He runs all over the house. It is kinda funny. But now that he has all of his shots we take him on a walk before bed time. It has really help. We also take him into the room as we are getting ready and he can calm down and settle into his bed. |
