| tummy rumbles Hi, new to the site. Woke up this morning to baby katie's tummy rumbles. I have heard her tummy do a few rumbles before, but never like this. We went for her morning walk and she seems fine, but I was really concerned about her rumbles so I decided to look it up on laptop and here I am. Found this wonderful site and see that it is fairly common problem, but if she starts showing any signs of distress she is VET bound... |

| Hi! Welcome to YT. Tummy rumbles can be a bit worrisome. Gracie Ruth seems to have tummy issues more then my other two. You're wise to just keep an eye on her. I'd rather error on the side of caution as these little ones can get sick really fast. You don't say how old Katie is, but when G was a pup I'd could sometimes bring her some relief by gently stroking her tummy with a warm wash cloth, from front to back. It seemed to help "move things along" and even if it didn't really do anything, she liked it so that was reason enough for me to do it.

YT 1000 Club Member | It's good to keep an eye on it. Roxie has this from time to time as well. She's healthy in every other sense of the word but now and then her little tummy can make the loudest sounds for such a small thing. I woke up to it this morning too. Her poop looks normal so I guess they just get a little gassed up from time to time just like people do. I think the walks probably help them to work some of that out. Unless you see runny poo or anything alarming your probably ok to assume your little one has just picked up something that caused gas. If it's something that persists and it really bothers you, I'd make a call to the vet.

Yorkie Yakker | Hi, My dogs tummy does this at night alot. As long as there is nothing else like diarrhea, she's eating good and acting fine. I wouldn't worry to much about it. Is it after she eats? I am a nurse so after we eat the same thing happens but you usually can't hear it unless your really skinny. But because they are so little and skinny it's easy to hear. Good Luck.... |

| it could be she's hungry and she has empty stomach; my dog had that problem before and she ended up in the hospital twice due to gastritis; maybe urs has upset stomach; u can feed boiled chicken and rice for few days; or gerber baby food; add some probiotic; if this continues it's best to see a vet; good luck

| Katie update Hi to all. This is just a quick note to report that Katie is doing fine this morning. Her rumbles stopped about 2 pm yesterday. She didn't eat much at all yesterday, but back to normal today. Thanks for the info and replys. It helped ease a mommy's concerns.... |
