|  New Member Athena and her slave. I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Annika, and I live in Iowa, USA. I have a 5 month old yorkie named Athena who is just wonderful. She is not an only dog, but she is an only yorkie....I hope that changes  I look forward to meeting other yorkie enthusiasts!

| Welcome!! My Cooper is not the only dog in our house either, but he is the only Yorkie, like your Athena. What other dogs do you have? We have a one year old Beagle mix named Harley.

|  We have QUITE the assortment of animals. I raise and show great danes, so I currently have two show great danes. I have a Ch. Pekingese who is HILARIOUS...but not a dogs dog...then there is zoey our shih tzu who is Athena's new BFF for life! Lastly, but not least, of course, Athena the little yorkie. The biggest thing people ask is how do I keep my little ones save around such large dogs like great danes. I don't - they simply never come in contact. It sounds weird, but I risk no one's health or smooshedness!
