| color change in coat? When scruffy was young his coat was gold and black. as he got older, his coat changed to more of a silver/grey/(Blue?) and gold color as expected. I noticed recently that now his back is half black half silver? I don't think there is anything wrong.. but it's just strange! Any ideas why it's like this? His silver hair does have silver roots, and black hair with black roots. so strange! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Roxy is my first yorkie, so I don't really know why yours is growing in like this. Roxy's is more like Scruffy's back half, but quite uniform. It will be interesting to see how Scruffy ends up. He's a cutie though! Keep us posted.

| Interesting...Barley's hair has done the same type of thing, but not back to black...just darker. I wondered why, maybe it's just their hormones still changing as they go for teenagers to adults
