| Hi Hello to all of you, My name is Margaret but go by Marge. I have a long hair Chihuahua..she is almost 13 years old. I also have a Yorkie??Silky?? or both in one. I purchased him 14 months ago and she said his dad was a rescue dog. I feel like I rescued him from a home where he wasn't loved..he was with 4 others and they had free run of a dirt yard where the owner worked nights and slept days.I love him with all my heart but I am the only one he trusts, He won't have anything to do with any one else. i do have a question..his ears are not upright. Do the puppys have to have their ears docked? his tail was but his ears flop like a Beagle...lol He weighs in at 14 pounds and he has a long body. He is stout as my son says. Marge |

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. Yorkies don't have their ears docked. Sometimes the do not stay up. Likely your guys won't due to his age.

| Hello Marge and welcome to YorkieTalk. I would love to see what your pup looks like. Whether their ears are up or downor full or part yorkie, they are the sweetest little dogs ever! The ears are not docked, just some come up and some don't. Some even prefer the ones with floppy ears! I think they are adorable, too!
