| I've gotten some laughs for it. So I just got my yorkie a few months ago and most people find it funny that I have such a tiny dog. I'm a 24 year old male college student but I am just so in love with my little guy. He is so great and I never knew it would be so rewarding. Do you think yorkies are mostly a "woman" dog. While I certainly don't care about that but it seems to be a response I get from people. Of course until they see how cute my boy is and then they don't care! |

| I think it's great that you got a little dog. My dad carries his maltese in his jacket. I met a guy and his family at a yorkie show a couple of weeks ago and he was a great big guy. He had a 3lb yorkie on his shoulder that he said he took with him everywhere. He said he used to have rottweillers! what is your little guy's name? Donna Welcome to YT!

| I find most women want the Yorkie, and then they call me back for another one, since their husband.. (the small dog hater) bonded with the Yorkie and they need another for themselves.... LOL Good for you.. Yorkies are the best.. even for men! My son used to use my Yorkies as a "chick magnet" at the Dog Show... his girlfriend won't let him go now... LOL |

| His name is Cullen! It's funny because I really love Twilight but I didn't want to name him directly after a character so I just chose Cullen. You know...i completely forgot that my friend's dad is a huge biker guy (long hair, black leather, big motorcycle) and he just loves his two tiny chihuahuas. I guess little dogs are great for guys! |

| Don't even question it!!! My DH was not very excited about me getting a Yorkie, but he has absolutely fallen in love with her. He loves her to death and would do anything to protect her. Right now he's talking baby talk to her. They may be small but they have a "huge" personality.

| My husband HATED our first dog Marley when we first got her( shes 5 lbs soaking wet lol ). He wanted a bigger dog. Well now we have another small dog Colt whos 5 lbs full grown and you wouldn't believe how protective he is of these two. I don't think any less of a man who has a small dog. Never did , never have, never will. He holds them like babies and talks to them like they are babies even (he's gonna kill me for telling you all that) And when he wakes up in the morning, do you think he rolls over to give me a kiss... NOPE he picks up one of our little ones and kisses and loves on them in morning.. Mostly Marley because " that's his girl " ... and to think he didnt want to get her in the first place

| DH does the same thing, I'll catch him lookin at the clothes when I am lookin at the toys for them. He even helps me get them dressed if its cold outside before WE take them out. He is so involved with them now. I never thought in a million years he would be like that! What's even scarier is he helped me give them baths last night. We put them both in the tub at the same time, knelt down next to each other and gave them their baths. He seemed to really enjoy it too, I think his favorite part was getting to hold them like babies all swaddled in the towel afterwards though while he talked baby talk to them

| I think it's awesome you've got a Yorkie! My husband didn't really want a small dog at first either, but you should see him with Sophie Belle now! He says that's his "baby girl", but he talks baby talk to her and it sounds like he's saying "she's my bubby gur-el". So adorable! He picks her up and lets her lick him all over his face. I need to get a video of it! |

| Yorkies are for everyone. It's awesome you have one, I'm trying to convince my brother to get one, but he's considering a Pom instead. My brother loves Tila, my father also loves Tila. They have no problems carrying and walking around Tila when she dressed up and with her pink leash and collar. Sometimes I even have to play tug of war just to walk or carry my Tila. lol. Yorkies are great, they're def. for everyone. |

| Men LOVE Yorkies! My experience has been: whenever I take Bella (3.9 lbs) for a walk, it is the MEN we get the most attention from. I can't tell you how many MANLY truck drivers have jumped out of their trucks at rest areas to meet Bella. I comment to my husband all the time about the male interest in small Yorkies. Mmmmmmm, I shouldn't be surprised, my husband really is in love with her and gives her loads of attention and love. Glad you're enjoying Cullen so very much! |

| My husband has a German Shepherd and she is huge I have always wanted a yorkie and so after having Mystic for a year we started really trying to find "my dream dog" even though I do everything for her I wanted a little lap dog....My teenage boys was like "whatever" ....well now fast forward to a month after getting him and My little yorkie is everyones little cuddle bunny....my husband always comes home and lets his dog give him kisses while standing up no less and then bends way over and picks up Tristan (yorkie) loves and loves on him then comes in and sits down. When I asked him "what no kisses for me" (even though they would be sloppy thirds) his response is "you were not waiting by the door". I think that yorkies are so small that they will wiggle into the even the tightest heart and take over!!! My sons will even scoop him up and hold him like a baby too!! |

| My boyfriend LOVES our Yorkies! It's fun watching him with them because he gets all gooey and cutesy. We were taking them on a walk around our neighborhood recently and a woman asked us about them. She said her and her husband have a big dog already but her husband wants a little dog! |

| I think most men start out thinking they wouldn't like a little dog. My DH was the same way when I wanted a Yorkie he didn't even now what the breed looked like. I showed him a pic and he said what is the breed bred for. I said to be cute and sit on your lap!!!LOL Well he let me get Jada and after having her two weeks he said we need to get our little girl a companion and we got Bogie like 2 mos later. He talks baby talk to them and they love him to death. I think it takes a real man to be so loving to these little guys
