| Do you think it's the economy? I'm starting to wonder! I've had the cutest two little males on sale on here since 9-29-09. Just a couple of interests. I'm wondering if it's the economy or the fact that I'm sure some people think of me as "new". My pictures don't do them justice, I've said that ALOT! LOL I was really naive enough to think that the minute I listed them on here I would be bombarded with calls!! I was thinking...no one from Ohio is selling puppies now! I have a Cincinnati mailing address, but I live in Eastgate, close to Batavia or Anderson. If you know of someone willing to give them the best home possible, second only to me of course, let me know! I really can't imagine having 5 yorkies considering the fact that I have a daughter that will be playing basketball for Northern Ky University and I want to go to ALL her games Home or Away!!! How would I ever sneak 5 yorkies in a hotel room!!! Thanks everyone! |

| I think both of them are truly adorable and they are priced really low IMO, I cannot imagine someone not wanting to buy one of them, they are just too cute! Have you tried locally at all by word of mouth? I wouldn't lower their price more than that, really . . . I wish I could buy them, but I have two of my own and my husband already told me 2 was enough . . .

| It's really not so bad. Bath days are a little hectic with bathing, clipping, ears etc. but I'm getting faster! They are all really well behaved, no yappers, and a barrell of fun. I have fun teaching them basic commands as well as tricks. Here they are on the patio having a "lesson".

| It may be a factor (the economy).... I'm not sure. They're priced very well so I don't know. They're adorable and I'd love to have a 2nd Yorkie but I think I'm just not quite ready yet. I'm sure they will find a loving home soon enough, it may just take a little longer. Good luck

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I wish I was ready for my 2nd baby but I have to wait till spring or summer. My daughter is expecting in Feb and I will be a 1st time Grandmother so I thought it would be best since I will be helping her and her hubby after the baby is born. Where can I see the pixs of your babies. |

| I do think it is the economy. That and there doesn't seem to be much interest in boys right now. I'm going through the same thing. I live in Ohio as well, just below Akron. I have one boy that I've been trying to find a home for awhile now. He is adorable, has the sweetest personality, comes from good bloodlines and comes with everything including a 1 year health guarantee and is priced low. I too thought I would have found him a home a long time ago. Your pups are both really adorable and the parents are beautiful as well. I hope things pick up soon and you are able to find them good loving homes.

Since you don't ship, this greatly reduces potential buyers.

| I don't mean to get this thread off track, but I'm perplexed by rising prices in a bad economy. I understand that inflation is coming, but it shouldn't be noticeable this early. I'm getting repairs done on my house. The local contractors are not hurting for business, & charging top dollar. Eighteen months ago a breeder in NJ was selling pups for $2,500. The current litter of pups are selling for $2,800. Vet prices in my area were very high compared with many other states, e.g., over $400 for neutering 18 months ago. I'm sure the price won't be less, & hopefully won't be more. If I were to buy another Yorkie, I'd like to get one locally so I could meet the pup, but I'd like to pay a reasonable price considering the current economy.
