I am a new yorkie owner...Jake is 9 weeks now.... can some one tell me when 2 start bathing him and what with... thanks in advance x

you sould probaly start at 8weeks- 8weeks would be the best thing. right now maybe you can use some doggy/baby wipes. Try not to bath him to much you want him to get his natural oils on his skin.

Bath him now so he knows what to expect. Make it a fun time for him , get out the hairdryer they love that. Tia is 15 mths old and she gets bathed once a month and used to hate it but now loves it lol

Just a tip... use puppy shampoo, their skin can be very sensitive.
I think you can use baby shampoo on them too.

Kimbo started bathing once a week when he was 8 weeks old. We use Biogroom Oatmeal Shampoo and also the conditioner. He HATES the hairdryer. We towel dry.
