| Your Dixie! Just wanted to say Good Luck and Best Wishes on your new little Dixie. I also have a Dixie, she is a year and a half old and I love her so much. She is spoiled and willful and stubborn and sweet and loving and I would not change one thing about her. She has more clothes than even I do and I have the most fun making her things and buying her clothes and accessories wherever I go. My twin daughter (age almost 21) each have a yorkie as well. Teddy belongs to my daughter Heather. He is two weeks younger than dixie but from a different litter. Max belongs to my daughter Megan and just turned two years old last thursday. He was a CraigsList give away that the family did to just get rid of the dog. He is purebred, we have his papers and have him registered. He is perfect and beautiful and smart. The three yorkies are like my grandchildren, running and playing together all day. They eat and sleep together and are such good friends. I now cannot imagine life without them. I love my dixie so much and she is so close to me she will jump over things to get to me. I hope you are as close to your Dixie as I am to mine and I just wanted to wish you the best of times with her.... |

| thanks for the welcome. I know I will love Dixie. Recently lost a Boston Terrier and couldn't stand the empty house. Dixie is keeping me busy. I don't know much about such a small breed. Working on potty training, but I know it will take time because I'm at work all day. I don't want to kennel her for 8 hours at this age. Welcome all the advice. |
