YT 500 Club Member | Sulking dogs Rosie has been in season for the last 2 weeks and despite being neutured Alfie has spent the last few days with his nose practically glued to her rear-end. Both have been alittle off their food, This morning both refused to eat, Alfie has his in the crate, Rosie outside, Rosie went in to investigate Alfies & he followed then all hell broke loose for about 10 seconds, then nothing. I took the food away, made sure everything was okay then carried on as normal. Then Alfie started walking aroubd hunched up & wouldnt leave my side, seamed to be really in pain, so I took him to the vets who could not detect anything wrong but gave him an anti-inflamitory injection just in case. They've spent all day egnoring each other and when Rosie growled at him over a small piece of food Alfie sat & did nothing, too scared to argue back. Guess now we know whos the top between them now. They've started playing again now so spat over. On the plus side the vet gave his hips and stifles the all clear. Just be glad when madams season is over. |
