| Don't Tell Me Our Yorkies Aren't Smart ! Hello Everyone. This is the first time in a couple of weeks that I've been able to get on the computer with YTalk. DH had triple heart bypass surgery on Tues. 9/22/09, did absolutely wounderful, was back home on Fri. 9/25/09 @ noon, and is progressing beautifully. Anyway, this was the first time since we have had Cali that he was not home at night. Complete trama to her. DH is retired and Cali is home with him 24/7. While he was in the hospital, Cali kept looking for him althrough the house and out in the back yard. I kept telling her that her daddy would be back in a couple of days and that everything is okay. On the second day when I returned from the hospital, I came home and Cali had taken DH's robe from our bed, drug it through the house to the family room, pulled it up on their recliner, made her a nest, and cuddled in it the entire time he was gone. Seeing that just broke my heart to pieces. So, when we got DH home on Friday, Cali was excited, but could sense that something wasn't quite right. I told her daddy had a bobo and had to be very easy with him, no jump, and no play for right now. Can you believe she listened. She would wait for him to invite her up on their recliner, and then she would be sit or lay and be very still. She would even stare at him to make sure he was alright. Unbelievable. I'd never seen this before. She was totaly amazing. Now she acts like my baby sitter for DH. Aren't our furbabys just awesome. Just wanted to share this with ya'll. pwolfkill & Cali |

| Oh that is so Cool and Amazing. Ya gotta love our Yorkies. That is really sweet. I could picture her dragging the bathrobe to the other room as I was reading it. What a sweetheart.

| how precious! I know my boys know whenever something is wrong! DH and I are pretty sure I had a miscarriage (very long story, I didn't even know I was pregnant - would have only been a week or 2 along), and I was just devastated when we realized what it probably was. I swear to you, my boys knew I was upset. While my husband hugged me, the boys were doing everything in their power to get to me, and when I sat down on the couch, they sat in my lap and just cuddled me for hours...Joey usually isn't cuddly, but he was the first one up in my lap, and he stayed for about 2 hours. It's amazing the healing power of our little Yorkies...I hope your husband has a quick and painless recovery!

♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | your so right, smart yes and sometimes silly lol. Got to share what Tia does EVERY morning, she will jump up on the bed for a morning cuddle but she can't get up there with her teddy in her mouth so she jumps up and stares at teddy expecting HIM to jump up and follow her! She wines at him and occasionally barks at him lol I think she believes he can do it, shes got me waiting to see if he can do it too lol.
