| Your vet should tell you, but not before 6 months. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | rabies vaccine can be given any time after 4 months old. its up to you and your vet to decide when exactly is right. i wouldn't do it on a day when other vaccines are given. I had morgan's done two weeks after her last distemper vaccine.

| I recommend that my new families not have their new pups innoculated with the rabies vacine until 6 months of age. My vet only administers a 1/2 dose and a full dose a year later.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | that's great that you can get your vet to only give them a half dose. the general practice ones i know won't do that. "the law is the law" blah blah blah.

The law is the law, blah, blah, blah.....they aren't investigated anyway. The only time the law comes into play is when the rabies vaccine is given and they send the info to Animal Control....then Animal Control steps in with their hand out for registration/license fee.
