| Short topknots I'm looking for any pictures of shorter topknots. Well, not a true topknot I suppose, more of a ponytail. Layla is getting groomed first thing in the morning, and I'd like to get her "regular" done but with the hair on top shorter. She is usually shaved down to about 1/4 inch all over her body, with longer hair on her legs, but they never even touch her topknot area so it's really long. It's like a head full of hair that flows down her back It just tends to get really knotted really fast, and when she's playing hard it falls in front of her face and gets in her food and water. I would love to see some pictures of shorter ponytails so I can show the groomer tomorrow!

| I don't know how short you are talking about, but here is a picture of Couver's top knot just after his hair cut. I think its short... in comparison to other dogs on here?

| awww Couver is so cute with his bow! I think I want it short enough that it kind of sticks up, instead of being weighed right down and scraggly like it has been. Right now even with a real topknot in Layla's hair, the ends still fall past her neck. Thanks for the picture!

| Darn it! I am still trying to learn to place a topknot in Suzi's hair ! I had got it in , but it looked funny, more like a pony tail, mowhawk thing, then I tried again, not much better i have to keep trying! Her hair is long enough and thick enough , I just do not know how to do it very well, sorry

| Here's a pic of Jamie's "topknot". Everybody thinks he's a girl, but I groom him myself and I couldn't train his bangs to stay out of his eyes and I surely wasn't cutting his hair every week, so this is what we found worked for us.
