| Good harness for small yokie? Hello eeveryone I need suggestions . I have a small yorkie 2.5 lbs and I cannot find a good harness for him. It seems all are huge and can slip out of them. If anyone knows of any good onethat will fit such a small yokie. I will really appreciated. |

| I used a farret harness for a long time. chattiesmom makes silk step in harnesses and has a thread in the for sale section. There are also quite a few people on here that made harness vests that are really great and since they are custom made they will fit your baby. These are the seller's that I have used for harness vests, all three have very cute designs and the quality is amazing. go.fetch™ The Chloe Bella Pet Boutique Tinkerbells Closet Dog Boutique: Designer Dog Clothes, Custom Dog Dresses, Sweaters, Carriers & More

| I went to this site http://parkavenuedogs.com/inc/sdetail/162and got Pixel the jean harness CUSTOM MADE to fit him AND had his name sewn on it in Red. Looks amazing and it was only $17 total INCLUDING shipping!!! I got it back in March and it's still the one we use most and continues to look brand new. I just hand wash it when it looks dingy and it cleans up really nice. Hope this helps! Last edited by tonyag9; 08-13-2009 at 09:55 AM. |

| Mocha is 3lbs and has had several different types of harnesses. The one I like the most is the Buddy Belt Welcome to BUDDY BELT (A Division of Class Art Productions Inc.). He's been able to get out of, or crossed/mixed up in other types of harnesses. He also has a Puppia vest harness, which is another one that he can't get out of or get caught up/tangled in, but since it covers a lot more area on his body, his hair always gets matted and needs to be thoroughly brushed afterwards. I would highly recommended the Buddy Belt, or the Choke Free Harness like the one posted above by Wend. They're both a similar design, just different styles/looks. I bought the Buddy Belt before noticing the Choke Free Harness, but I think I'll end up getting one of those because I like the look of it a little better. But for now, the Buddy Belt will do Oh, I also like that it feels more sturdy/secure and doesn't slide around like other step-in harnesses do!

| Chattiesmom's harnesses are THE BEST! She custom makes them for your furbaby. I also love that if any adjustments are needed you can mail your harness or leash back to her and she'll fix it up. Great customer service Here's Missy wearing hers...

| I agree - we love our harnesses from Cindy! All of mine have one except the baby, and we'll be getting one for him soon.

| A custom-made clothing type of harness vest will work wonderful for your pup. I also make them and you can check out my website in my signature. If you want to stick with a basic type of harness, I can't say enough good things about the leather choke-free harnesses. We have used several standard harness designs and this is THE only one my girls can't wriggle out of!!! One note about the choke-free, if your pup has a 9" chest, you may want to order a 10" as they run a tad small.
