| They do look like they are balding when they are changing. If you are certain though she is loosing hair you should have her checked by a vet. When My Jewels was a pup the hair on her back got very thin and the vet did a skin scrape. She didnt find anything wrong but put her on antibiotics and the hair grew back

| I thought Rily was doing the same thing...but now it looks like his adult coat is just coming in thinner because the color and texture both are changing and matting at that point. My vets has seen this and says Rily is fine.

| Hers is modified. Somewhere inbetween a cotton and a silky. Her hair lays down flat like a silky but will matt like a cotton

| Thanks, I've noticed that you are really nice and very helpful. You are a great asset to YT. You seem to always answer questions and never in a condescending tone that others have used. Your baby are cuties too.

| Bald? When I first got Scooter at 11 weeks, he looked like the top of his head was getting bald. The hair was very light in color and soooo thin. Now, he's 1 1/2 and has a very full head of hair!

| After we bought Sophie we decided to adopt another little girl who was seven months old already and needed a home. The breeder told me her coat was so thin and short because Hazel "blew" her coat. I had no idea what she meant by that and she told me it was a hormone thing and her coat would come in fine but it would take about two years to be the normal length. I asked my vet and he told me that usually only happens after a yorkie mother gives birth. I didn't what to make of it. She's not bald but her hair is very thin. Sophie Hazel |

| LOL that's what makes you a good mom I got my yorkie as an adult so I never experienced the hair loss, but it makes sense as I've seen other breeds do the same thing. Kind of like when human babies lose their baby hair. Welcome to YT!!!
