| Silver Under Coat Rupert has a Silver undercoat under all his dark fur. His head looks like he is grey with black tips.. and his lower belly is a bit grey. Is he going to go all grey/silver? Anyone know how long it will take? I think he will be cute with a bunch of silver |

| if it eventually turns dark silver, this is what we call "blue" and is the perferred color and the sstandard mentioned for AKC. Sometimes it starts out very light but turns. |

| Yup, Ranger is getting that silver at the base of his hair too. I hope he stays mostly golden though!

| Yorkies change colors for up to 2~3 yrs. The blk tips are probably his puppy fur growing out...kinda looks like he needs a dye job, need to cover those grays. Lol. Mimi was all bluish silver w/tan when she was a pup & eventually when she turned almost 2, her whole head had turned tan.

| My girls are both blue. The boys are still black and I'm hoping they stay that way. I think the blue if very pretty, but it means they are growing up. |
