Hey I'm new to these forums I've been reading a lot on here ever since my Yorkie had her first litter I love the site btw very very helpful for many different things.. I just had their tails docked and I am worried about possible infections on a couple of them so any information would be very much appreciated.

First things first, how do I know if it is infected what are the possible signs, just bleeding or would it have to be blood and puss? And secondly what kind of medicine could I apply myself to them that would work well to stop the bleeding or infection? Thanks for any replies.

You will get more answers if you post your question in either the breeder's section, the nursery section, or the sick section. Since I am not a breeder and not familiar with tail docking I will let my answer to you be a 'bump.'
