Donating YT 10K Club Member | Ramsey's saddle is more white than silver and her sister's coat is really really light colored. I don't know of any health issue involved with it. Personally I would ask to speak to her vet to determine the health of the dog. One thing by 5 if they have not had preventative tooth care....she likely needs a professional dental performed.

| As mentioned above, I would defineately get the yorkie's medical records from her vet. Not take the lady's word. It is much better, and safer if you can . She sounds like a very pretty yorkie. Since she is 5 years old, dental care is vital. Here's hoping the people who have owned her have kept good care of her.

And yes, vets give shots, clean teeth and all sorts of medical care on yorkies all the time. Yes, some dogs (not just yorkies) unforunately have an issue with going under.. but it is a chance that has to be taken when it comes to the welfare of our pets. If her teeth are really bad it could lead to other issues

| I would try to get some type of health guarantee that you and her agree on. Then with that agreement you have to take her to the vet and have an examination done to determine what type of health she is in. Good luck and congrats if it works out.

| Most five year old dogs are sold 'as is" but contacting the vet is a good idea or ask if you can take her to the vet at your expense before any money changes hands. As far as her color, hormones changing with age will often cause females to lighten up. |

| I'm back...Thanks for the advice...I didn't go ahead and get her .she was pretty but scared shaking all over....But she kinds didn't look like one My sisster put her down to see her better we wanted her to walk to see how she does...I seen there was a darker color showing and my ssister saw that too we looked at her closier and she didn't have hair under the top hair ...she is white with just a little strings of black through her hair and I seen on the skin a black mole.....Then on her stomach wa alot of small moles or dirt not sure .But she told me she jut gave her a bath before she brought her to me ..I said what if she messes you alot and she said she won't...That surprised me also she had her for 3 yrs she said so i figure the dog would miss her..So I didn't do it thinking she might be a yorkie but like you all said they lose hair sometime with differnt colors ...so we was on are way home and my sister told me sshe looked like a crested hairless dog...Barbie |
