| Is it a time release capsule or did you ask the vet if you can break it open? I mix Ellie's with sweet potato and if she won't eat it, then I just force it in.

| Oh thank you so much. It is an antibiotic. I did ask the girl if I could open it and give it to her. She said no but I think she thought I would sprinkle it on her food then she won't get the whole pill. She is still very lithargic even after the shot of antibiotic and the fluid bubbles under her skin. I am going to give it to her now. Hopefully she will take it if I hide it in food. She has kind of just been licking the wet food from a spoon so this should be interesting...

| .... well she might be sick but she is still smart. haha I put the capsule in a peice of chicken she eats the chicken and spits out the pill. I gave her a couple of pieces of plain chicken then one with the pill and again she spits it out. So I kind of just stuck it way far back in her mouth and held her mouth closed for a second and viola it's gone. So I guess I have to do it like that for the rest of them. I sure hope these pills help she has a fever of 105. and feels warm to me. I sure hope she perks up I can't stand it. The other 2 were running an chasing each other in the yard and she hasn't left her bed. anyway thanks for the quick response and the help I knew you guys would know what to do thanks again.
