| Question about weed and feeding my lawn... My lawn is in desperate need of help. I am going to weed and feed it. Is there a product more safe for animals? Or how long (one day, one week?) do I need to keep my doggies off of it? Thanks

Donating YT 30K Club Member | We keep an area fenced off where I let the dogs go and we don't fertilize there. 2 years ago the landscapers fertilized and didn't tell us and Pixie had a bad reaction to it and ended up at the ER vet with neurological symptoms. We didn't figure it out until the next week when they gave us the bill. So now we never let them on fertilized lawn. If you do whre they go I would look for something safe and keep them off for a few days.

| i am getting mine professionally done just this year. when we bought the house last year, it had been vacant for almost a year and the yard was horrible! anyway, before i agreed to any company, i specifically asked them if the treatments were "dog friendly." they are a large company so i do not feel they would need to be dishonest with me for any reason (too much to lose for them!) and they said i would need to keep the dogs off for about 3 days. i keep them off for at least 5 days just to be safe
