Advice on Boric Acid for fleas please!!!

Hi Everyone
Can anyone give me some advice on Boric Acid for fleas?? I want to use it on my carpet in my apartment. I think Fifi got fleas from other dogs at the vet. Is it safe?? Can I use it while my yorkie is in the apartment?? it's kinda hard to keep her off the carpet since it's everywhere

Boric acid is a powder...sprinkle it on your carpets and brush in with a stiff bristle broom. Personally I would place her in a bathroom while applying it...it's safe but I wouldn't want mine inhaling it either.

Thank you for responding I'll lock her up while sprinkling it, so it's ok for her to walk on the carpet after i sprinkle it?? Sorry if i'm asking silly questions but i'm just scared and I don't want anything to happen to her!!!

Be sure to brush it into the carpet and yes it's fine.
