| What changed? I know they say your dog shouldn't sleep in bed with you... But Oliver has always slept in my bed with me (he is one). Lately he has been sleeping under the bed. I call for him and try to get him to come out but he won't. He has never done this before and I don't understand it. Is something wrong? |

My Little Man! Donating Member | I think the bed might be hot for Oliver that is why he goes under the bed. Maxi loves to stay on my couch during the day but as it gets hotter he goes on the floor.

| Jackson does this sometimes too It makes me sad. He started sleeping in the bed with me at 3 1/2 months of age and about a month ago or so, he started sometimes hopping off the bed and sleeping under it or on the floor! It makes me so sad because I wanted a dog that loved to sleep in bed with me and cuddle - don't get me wrong, when he DOES sleep in the bed, he will be right next to me cuddling but it's getting more and more where he doesn't want to sleep in the bed!

| For the first time, I have a bed where Cash can easily get under. Now he likes to chill and sleep there. If I leave my room open during the day, he will be there. He comes out when I call him though. He has always slept with me too and now he starts the night under the bed or in his own bed in my room. Eventually, when he gets too cold, he will come and snuggle with me. Has the weather changed there? Cash hardly ever sleeps with me in summer (which I miss, but am secretly happy about since it gets so hot), but in winter (now) he starts off under the bed and ends up snuggled close to me. Now that June sleeps with us as well, Cash has his own side of the bed and June is on the other (or by my feet - which is her new favorite spot) with me in the middle. This way we all get warm! Ps. When I turn on my electric blanket, I have to fight with Cash for the hot spot!!
