| concerned about fan My husband loves to sleep with a fan going in summer and winter. We keep our home really cool in the summer and it gets alittle cold at night in the bedroom with the fan. Kayla sleeps with us and I never knew they could get a cold or flu etc. Do you think we should not let her sleep in front of the fan. She loves it and sometimes lays on my husband or my side until she gets cold and then she will move. I sure don't want my baby to get sick. I just started worrying about this when I read the thread about little Jolene dying from flu. What do you think and do any of you sleep with a fan going at night with your baby in bed with you? |

| My DH is the same way, fan must be on no matter what the temp. All 3 sleep with us and they move about as they need. In fact I count on them to help me in the winter to stay warm. I've put jammies on Gracie Ruth a few times this past winter but for the most part if it's too cold for them, they just burrow under the covers and cuddle up next to me and we all stay comfy toasty warm together.

You also state that when she gets cold she will move so I wouldn't worry too much about sleeping in a cool room with a fan running. I really don't see anything to be concerned with.

| Teresa, I'm right there with you, I rely on them to keep me warm as well! They are like little bundles of heat!! I am one who has to sleep with the fan on and like everyone else's, my furbabies will crawl under the blankets as need be or curl up against me if they are cold. I am no doctor, but I don't think they can get the flu just from being cold there has to be an underlying cause (virus, bacteria??) |

| Amelia likes the fan but it sometimes gets chilly. She has a blanket in her bed and will actually pull it over herself if she gets too cool.... |

| I confess that I am addicted to the sound of a fan, summer and winter. Lol. It doesn't seem to bother Piccolo.....

| We have air conditioning and a fan on in our bedroom and My yorkies are fine. I even have the fan on in the winter. I like to have air blowing on me while I sleep

| I have a fan in my room, we have it on every night, and Fiona does fine. I actually have some pretty funny pictures of her just sitting in front of it with her hair and ears all blowing in the wind! If it got real, real cold , i'd put a t-shirt on her, but i never had an issue!
