| He is the love of my life Last year I joined this forum looking for a female yorkie, mainly because I'd seen all those cute pics of the girls with bows and dresses. I had absolutely no desire or interest in a boy. Well, my BF convinced me to go and check out this boy puppy that a local breeder was selling (the last one left), and since he was getting the puppy for me for my birthday, I agreed. When I first laid my eyes on him, I instantly fell in love. I kept thinking...how could he be the last one left? He is absolutely perfect. He was a bit nervous, shaking a bit, and shy, but he came out of his shell in no time and within a few days he was the rambunctious little guy he is today. When I got him he was 8 weeks old, and he is now 7 1/2 months old. He was 2.6lbs then, and he's currently 6.9lbs. I still marvel over how much he's changed throughout these past few months...he looks like a little yorkie-man now, but he'll always be my baby. I'm no longer with my BF, and so for the past couple months it's just been JoJo and me in my new place. It's been a difficult time for me, but everytime I look into that sweet face of his, it warms my heart and makes me smile....he makes everything better. I can't imagine my life without him. Every decision I make now, I make with him in mind. I can never go shopping without having to get him a new treat, toy, or anything just for him. Every now and then I take him to doggie day care so that he can interact with other dogs and play and so I can get stuff done, and I find myself sitting in the lounge area for hours just watching him play like a proud momma, and I end up having wasted most of my so-called "errand time" just watching him play! I love the way he must be touching me while playing with a toy or chewing on a treat, or how he walks around the house with his favorite squeaky toy in his mouth, with the occasional "squeak, squeak!", or how he cocks his head when I talk to him, as though he understands what I'm saying, or his slight underbite that I think is adorable, or how he loves to find tissues or my socks and try to sneakily find a way to hide from me while he annihilates them!, or how he throws his toy up in the air and his front paws go up in the air to catch it, or how he showers me with puppy kisses whenever I come home. But most of all, I love knowing he's there when I do come home. Just 8 months ago, this little guy didn't exist to me, and my life would have continued as usual. But now, I can't imagine my life without him, and I really never knew how much I could love a pet. People may think I'm crazy, but he's not just a pet to me. He has a beating heart, a personality, needs and wants, and can get ill, just like a person. But most of all, he can love, and he does...he loves ME unconditionally. And to me, well, he is my JoJo, the love of my life. |

| Thanks guys. There aren't enough words to describe my little guy, but I knew that everyone here on YT could relate to the things I described in my post. It truly warms my heart to see how everyone here cares so much about their furbabies, and I wanted to write a "tribute", if you will, about my JoJo, but also on behalf of all of those who love their yorkies as much as I love mine. |

| I feel as if I had just read something that I have written! I feel exactly the same way about Cash. I got him just after my last, very serious, relationship ended (it took me a year to get over that guy) and Cash has filled my life with love and loads of fun. Now that we are three, I feel like we are our own little family and that no matter what happens in my life and in my country, as long as I have my babies, everything will be fine.

I think I am going to name all my future dogs after some of the great love affairs of our time.
