I haven't cried like this since I had to saygoodbye to my 17yr. yorkie Dec.27th 2009. Like Marley he made a brave brief recovery and then it was to much for him. Having to make those decisions on behalf of someone you love so much is so hard. I know I'll meet him again over the rainbow bridge.

The movie is so good it will make evem the toughest cry!

I cried like a baby too!!! He reminds me of my lab,who is very destructive too! Now when she tears something up, I look at her and go "awwww"

I blubbered as well. I have heard though that the book is even better, so I am definitely planning on reading it now. My son says that it shows more of the "good" side of Marley than the movie did.

Great movie.

Ive been warned not to watch it yet as I recently lost Jessie my border collie, probably catch it on DVD later this year.

I cried through the entire thing... even the happy parts. I thought of ALL of my babies, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, etc, etc. lol

I cried my eyes out. Hubby could not watch the end. He told me to let him know when it was over.

My daughter said she cried to so I guess I won't watch it..hate a sad ending.

I bought the movie after work on the day it came out and sat down an watched it. When my hubby came home after a meeting, I was half through the movie. So we started it again, and we watched it together. We both sobbed. He really liked it too, but he also thought it was very sad.

I have not seen the movie, however, have seen the previews. I have read the Book , which is TRUE. what i've seen in the previews, they added scenes that are not in the book. Why they botch the movie from a book always is diappointing. Yes, It is true in the book as well as the movie what happens in the end though. If you really liked the Movie, I strongly suggest you read the Book, it is amazing, and will bring up humor, sadness , and grief. But than I won't give away the ending , there is anther thing that happens

same thoughts were going through my head as well!!
my arrogant shi-tzu that disappeared one day. my grandma's many cats that i hated and bullied. my grandpa's parrot that i taught bad words and insults to. my mom's stinky rabbits that seemed to always be having babies and how we always stress over finding new homes for those babies or worrying that the mom might get stressed and eat her own babies

(happened once when i touched those babies too early and left my scent all over them....feel extremely guilty). my hamster that was more like a chia plant to me than a hamster, allowing me to cut his long fur in any style i liked.

........i cried like a babie as soon as they showed marley because i knew marley was going to die when the movie ends

I bought the DVD last week.........we'll be watching it tonight and by the sounds of it, with a couple boxes of tissues next to us.

The ending is sad, BUT they make it into a good thing, if that makes sense, which makes the movie good
