My sister lives in Bowling Green, KY. She just called and said why would this be? I said what, she said in the paper today(and she read what it said)Anyway, I pulled it up online and then e-mailed. Told her to call about them, something doesn't add up here..?

There was an ad in my local penny saver like paper - that said 2 AKC Yorkies free to a good home. So I emailed them and guess what I got

The African Preacher Scam story

It was a Reverand and the email was gmail too

I told her it was probably a scam, but she said she would call the number when she was done eating. I e-mailed and told the guy I have a brother and sister that live there and could pick one up for me if he had a girl.

She could also report this to the local paper as a scam. Some people will do this just to get a "working" email address. Companies will pay money for every working email address you send them.

I'm sure it is, I hope my sister calls though, I e-mailed but, haven't gotten a response back yet. I'm sure if I do they will say to send the money to Nigeria.

Be careful where you call. Some of the exchanges (is that the right word? like 800, 803, etc) are long distance and you can be charged as much as $2000 per minute for calling them.

I'd make sure that you're calling a valid exchange that is in the US.

It's sad but you know what they say...If it sounds to good to be true it probably is. It is horrible that there are people out there that want to scam good natured, kind hearted,dog lovers. Here somebody is willing to give a puppy a wonderful home and they end up being taken. It makes me sick!

there are actually quite a few towns in the 502 area code, but, it also used to be 502 a few years ago
