| Update-this is why I work As you may have read in my post over the weekend, Sissy caught a mole, "finally earning their keep". Well Sunday night Sissy started coughing, acting like their was something wrong with her throat didn't eat dinner and woke up coughing during the night. Being the over protective mother that I am, first thing Mon morning I was on the phone to the vet and got a 5pm appointment yesterday. Well, the vet couldn't find anything wrong with her throat and though maybe she may have inhaled dirt digging for the mole and put her on antibiotics. She drew blood work to see if there is an infection brewing and as long as she was there drew heartworm blood work. While she was checking her throat she found Sissy has broken off one of her teeth and needs it extracted, plus a dental cleaning but she is also due for her shots but since she isn't feeling well couldn't do it yesterday. So after being on antibotics for a week she needs to go back for her shots and then back again for a dental extraction and cleaning. So this lousey mole snack cost $248.00 yesterday. My husband has retired but I still work (I keep telling him I'm not as old as him). He keeps telling me, "you don't need to work". Oh, but I do, I want to make sure my little ones have everything they need. You never know when things like this will pop up.

| I am working to support the soldiers in the field. I did retire once, but I just felt a need to help all I can.

| Ahhhhh yes, I am learning the feeling.... I could have retired from my job this June, but seeing as how my lil one is in her terrible two's (love her to death, but she gets into everything) I figured I still need the extra income to cover any unexpected expenses that either she or I may incur.....

| I understand what you are saying. I thought I was doing it right and waiting until I retired to get JoJo. I didn't want to have to leave a little one at home alone at first. I should have done just the opposite. Since "Daddy" is still working, I'll just let him pay for JoJos LP surgery. That sounds like a good plan. Daddy won't mind because that's his little boy! |
