| Jewelry and Weird Black Bump Hi! I have two questions. 1) Danny is obsessed with jewelry. If you are wearing a bracelet or metal watch, he will go insane trying to get to it to lick it?? What is going on with that? 2) Also, Danny has a weird black bump on his right ankle that is tender to the touch. He cries or tries to "bite" you if you touch it. I thought it was a tick but it isn't. Any ideas?? Thanks? |

| Riot likes to lick anything metal too, keys, cabinet handles, earrings, buttons on your pants if he's on your lap etc. The vet said it's not too much of an issue just to discourage the things like biting on the cabinet handles because it can wear down his adult teeth very fast. As far as the black bump goes, I'd call the vet, especially since it hurts to touch it.

YT 1000 Club Member | i'd have the bump checked out too. could be a splinter or thorn festering and hopefully nothing real serious. i have bigger dogs that always lick the metal on their kennal doors. haven't noticed roxie with that so much. a dog thing lol! |

| Definitely have the bump checked by the vet. With any luck it is something relatively minor...but it could be serious. My foxy had a black bump on her flank that turned out to be an aggressive tumour. Sooner is better than later.
