Donating YT 11K Club Member | Teddy at the park When i take Teddy to the dog park there are usually dogs his size or bigger. He will go around the park peeing and smelling butts, but then when a dog smells his butt he gets mad and growls at them, no matter how big they are, he growls like he is in charge of the park. And he is not neutered so i watch him, but he will try to hump other dogs, male and female and if the dog tries to do it back he growls, i guess he doesnt like being dominated. He's something else. Then if i hold him for too long cause he is being naughty he starts growling for me to put him down. Why is he so aggressive at the dog park and at home he's not at all? Anyone know?

| He doesn't actually bite your or go after other dogs does he? I think he's just trying to warn them not to mess with him but the wrong dog might not take that so well, that's what I'd be worried about if the other dog is a lot bigger than him. Not sure what advice to give you.... maybe get him around a lot more dogs his own size so he feels more secure with dogs in general? Good luck! |
