| Newbie Hello, my name is Michelle, I'm new here. Our new little pup Snickers is 13 weeks old (3.5lbs at last vet check!) and is keeping us all on our toes. She's a Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix, and she's only the second small dog we've ever had. We had a cocker spaniel , our very first baby, for years and years but that was quite a long time ago, and since then we've always had big labs. I've always wanted another little doggy, but with 4 kiddos it was a while before I felt ready to take on the challenge! LOL So Snickers has a mom and a dad, one human sister and 3 human brothers, and a 70lb. black lab goof of a sister, whom she already bosses around like a natural little princess. Housebreaking...lets just stay it's going and leave it at that. We have good days and not so good days. At least she's sleeping all night now though, I haven't had an 'infant' in the house for a long time, and whew, it wore me out! LOL I've been reading this board for a few days now, and have already gotten some really good info, so thanks for that. I hope to participate, but 4 kids+2 dogs=not as much computer time as Mom would like! I'll do my best. Michelle |
