Hi Lacey passed away yesterday . It was so hard to see her in pain and she die in my son's arms. We took her to the vet and they will cremate her. I am not sure what to do. My family all went to the vet and we was put in a room to spend time with her. We all cried. We are all still having a hard time today. I can cremate her and have her buried in a pet cemetery or I can cremate her and get her back. We are not sure if we should get her back so we can move on faster but on the other hand if I don't get her back she we be cremated with other pets and put in an unmarked grave. I can't see her being cremated with others. I need help figuring out what I should do.

Can you get her back and then bury her if you change your mind later? I'd do that so you have options. It's a hard time to make decisions right now.

I'm sorry that you lost your girl and I'm glad you all got to say good bye.

Im so sorry for your loss.

I think it would be better to hold on to her ashes. If it were one of my dogs, I would want them close to me.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Ultimately, you and your family will need to make the final decision but I know for me I would definitely get her ashes back. But what is right for me might not be for you-only you will know what is.

If it were me, I think I'd keep the ashes and maybe scatter them in her favorite place or something.

So sorry about Lacey. I know she was so tiny and sick. It is hard to lose one so young. I had Baby Chloe cremated and we will get her ashes back in an urn to keep.

I am so sorry for your loss. We had our little girl privately cremated and then brought the ashes home in a beautiful wooden urn. It has an interchangeable photo frame for the front. We can see her little face every day because we put the urn on our mantel during the day and on our nightstand at night. It is very hard to lose your beloved furbaby but seeing her every day like this helps our grieving process.

Im so sorry this has happened. I buried my Angus in our back yard. But I wish I would have had him cremated.They put their ashes in a little box. A friend of mine has five little boxes that sit on her mantel. Im just so sorry.

When we had Boog cremated we were told they would put a little brick in with him that had a number on it, that way we would be sure we actually got Boog back and not another dog. We had him cremated and returned to us in a little urn...he is in my Grandmother's cabinet with his collar and picture right now. Since we move a lot we didn't want to bury him in the yard so our plan is to bury him with which ever one of us goes first...the urn will be placed in the crook of the left arm since that was Boog's favorite place to be. I checked into pet cemetaries but when I went to look at them I found them to be not very well taken care of and I didn't want my Boog dog left in one of those places. Not to say there aren't nice ones but the ones I saw weren't.

I am so sorry you had to say goodbye. Makes me so sad. I have a couple of my furbabies buried in the backyard. I go periodically to their graves and think. I loved them too much to have them put in an unmarked grave with other pets. In the end, though, it is your and your family's decision as to what makes you more comfortable. Aw so sorry for your loss. It's hard to lose them they are our babies. Maybe you could get the ashes and put them in a little yorkie statue to keep in a nice place. Rest in peace little Lacey.
