New to YT--looking to adopt an older Yorky for my dad--87--laguna beach ca - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Dad is in need of a companion--does a lot of walks--and watches a lot of TV--experience with the family dog for years--sheltie--was great--likes a smart dog--but no yappers--needs to be house trained--any ideas??

you should look in the rescue section on here or search Rescue groups in and around your area! good luck in your search !! and WELCOME to yorkie talk!

Welcome to YT. Marcerella is on the mark about looking at rescue groups in your area and on YT's rescue section. All of our Yorkie "Kids" have been rescues. Try to get a history on rescues. Our 2 walk about 4 miles a day.
