| i need help tilly my youngest yorkie who is 3 years old, has started to soil in the house non stop, we are talking number 1 and number 2's all the time even with a pee matt down she avoids it and does it on the carpet instead. I am not sure what to do but its a major problem, should i be punishing her pleeeeease help. |

| I am so sorry you are having problems with your girl. Has there been any changes in diet or her routine? Is there any additional stress in her life? Has she had any recent shots or any health problems? Has she been spayed. Hopefully you will find the answers here. |

| I'm not sure why Yorkies forget their training sometimes. Just keep an eye on her at all times. When my husband and I are downstaires, we block the stairs so Prince can't sneak off. Praise her, a lot, when she uses her pad. I wouldn't punish her if she has an accident, I would clean it up and keep going. Positive reinforcement works for us. |
