Do you layer? I would suggest maybe doing some layers, maybe a onsie or undershirt then the coat? It is so cold here also, been about -20 for the past week and my poor girl can't stand to be out more then a couple mins but by then she is shivering so bad too. I put her in my coat with a sweater on and let her little head pop out. She goes potty inside so this works for us.

I hear you Carmen It was -5 in Roxbury this morning when hubby went to work. I open the door to bring Bella out and she just turns and looks at me like "ah I don't think so." Then goes to her peepee pad. My Moms kitchen sink pipes froze in Hopatcong last night. My son lives in Hackettstown and his heating oil pipes gelled up. Please spring we need you.

I layer Lady when it's really cold. I put a four legged jogger underneath, then a coat on top.

| Maybe you can put some layers of clothes under what you're using to keep him warm. I feel so sorry for all of you that are having these problems.

So far since it has been so cold, Molly hasn't been out. But I do have a new fleece lined parka with a scarf from PetEdge for her to wear. If I did take her out, I would layer on top of either a sweater or a hoodie. But, thankfully she uses peepads, so going out hasn't been an issue for us. I feel sorry for any dog who does right now because it is so bitterly cold.
