i came from the vet not to long ago and he told me not to use any flea & tick shampoo on such a small dog, that all those chemicals are not too good for them. Stick to Frontline, He's seen many small dogs/cats die from it & he says to use a soap free shampoo on your dog. hope this helps !!

I agree with your vet. It's very harsh because of the chemicals but also dries their skin which you don't want. Always use a shampoo and conditioner made especially for dogs.

Yes flea and tick shampoo's shouldn't used on any dogs anymore
they are too caustic for dog's generally sensitive skin
Yorkie's esp have problem with skin irritations sometimes
