| picking up bad habits.... ok,well i have been staying at my dads house to spend some time with him before i go back to school in jaunuary, anyway my stepmoms mailtipoo is not exacttly the most well behaved dog. He still is not 100 percent potty trained, barks nonstop, scratches and whines at my door at all hours of the morning trying to get to Bailee,he nips terribly and super high strung etc. Bailee on the other hand is very calm and laid back, never barks or whines, nips or anything and always uses her pad. well, when i took her back to my moms, she was wild and crazy like oliver. My question is how do i prevent my sweet girl from picking up his bad habits?I have an excellent dog and DO NOT want her to become like him!!

| Maybe she was just excited to be back in familiar territory and away from that pyscho puppy. I think she'll be back to normal in a couple days once she gets back into her old routine.

| now that you are both back in your "territory" you can just get back to your way of doing things! LOL! I'm sure you will lovingly remind her (and get her back on track) of the proper habits and good doggie manners you worked so hard to instill in her!

| Mmm, well as long as she goes back to normal once she is home I guess it is ok My girls do the same thing when we go over my in-laws and get together with their beagle, I have to put them apart sometimes cause they get all dirty and crazy playing with that dog, they also start barking loud, bitting, turning upside down the food and water bowl and other behaviors that are usual on that dog, while they are very well behaved at home. I let them go wild for a while, after all they seem to have so much fun but once we re back home they just go back to normal..thank god |

| thats what i was hoping, unfortunately it was just a visit to my moms(she begged me to bring her over cuz she was missing her) and now we are back to my dads until the 2nd!ahhh!!!(i love my dad more than anyting but with two small children and and a crazy dog, its just not the best environment for Bailee) we should all be thankful for the well behaved furbabies we have!

| I know what ur talking about my friend has two MAD dogs and boy the are sooo hyper and do not listen to my friend at all she can not control them. When i go over my bailey turns just as hyper as them jumping on the couch (like the mad dogs do) running mad around the room after each oher ignoring me haha. I let him get it out his system and when we go home he is ALWAYS back to normal how is your step mother with you now? I have been talking the last few days to my friends and family about how good Bailey is. I feel so lucky he is a year old and i have just finished training him to my way of living and what can and cant do and i am loving him so much i feel so lucky to have him in my life. i would hate for all that training to be ruined coz of a MAD/CRAZY dog i hope ur bailee gets bk to normal when u get home hun xxxx
