|  Hi, thought I would introduce myself... Hi My name is Cheri and I am the mommy of a 15 week old Yorkie named Fred. We had a Golden Retriever (Suzie) who passed away last spring, she was so funny and smart but we vowed to be pet free.. It didnt last long.. My neighbor had bred her yorkie and Fred was one of two males in the litter. I knew from the first day he was born he was going home with me. He is very sweet, SO Smart I just cant believe it. I can say that I have a wonderful new friend in him.. He gets along very well with my kiddos and loves to bark at my hubbys shoes lol. Anyway just thought Id pop on and say Hi, love reading the board here and getting lots of answers to those questions that always come up  |

| W*E*L*C*O*M*E! I had to put down my beloved pet last year too, and I swore I was never getting another dog. Funny, how it took a Yorkie to win both of our hearts over. They really are special! Congratulations on your new little boy. It sounds like you're enjoying him

|  Hi Cheri and Fred, Welcome to Yorkie talk. I lost my beloved Raine last year and yes it took a Yorkie to heal my heart too!! My Baron just turned 1 on Nov. 30th. I've had him for 6 months. I'm now looking for a young female Yorkie to rough house with him since my 7 y.o. Papillion does not play. Glad you found our site, Enjoy, Blessings, Baron's Mom

|  Welcome Cheri! I've only been a member of YT since September, but it has really been a blessing to me. I've had a few questions and everyone has been helpful. Lily came home with me in September (was born in June). I had to postpone adopting her because I had sprained my ankle, etc. Anyway, she is my first yorkie. I had a wonderful toy poodle for 12 years and we had to put her down right before Mother's Day. It was heartbreaking. Lily has brought a lot of joy to me. Cherie & Lily

| Welcome!! You will learn lots here. We lost our Beautiful Maggy, a 12 Lb. Chocolate Lab in July. There was no thought of another, but then we adopted Toby. He has worked his way into our wounded hearts. Congrats on your new family member!! |
