One of Ruby's favorite places to sit is on the back of our couch. She sits up on the back of the couch and looks out the window, sometimes she'll sleep up there, and she'll jump up there when she's really excited. Does anybody else's dog do this?

Yes! Olivia's new favorite place to nap (since the little boy yorkie moved in!) is the top of my chair. I am like you, always thought of cats doing that - not dogs! But it's so cute! LOL

Yes! Triss does this. Our big couch is in front of the window. She loves to lie up there and stare outside. My cat does this too. Not at the same time of course, lol..

Oh man, this is Franklin's absolute favorite thing to do! He spends all day sitting on our couch, staring outside and occasionally freaking out over a blowing leaf.

His majesty likes it so much that he paws at and chews on our blinds if they aren't up to his liking.

my dogs do that , they like being high and looking around .

I put a cat window seat on my window and they love watching everything outside
