|  Bacon fat? Ok yesterday my mom was making some macaroni salad with bacon in it. Before I knew what was happening she was over at koda's x-pen feeding him a chunk of bacon fat!!! I have heard that pork is bad for yorkies. Is this true? Will he be ok? He hasn't had a reaction yet. Could there still be one?

| Pork is bad for them it can cause pancreatis. If he hasnt had any type of reaction by now Im sure hes fine

| Pork isn't toxic to dogs or anything but it is high in fat and there are better meats to feed. As far as the fat, any meat fat is extremely dangerous to give as a snack. It can and does trigger pancreatitis easily which can be fatal. I would stay away from pork products altogther personally. You should know in a couple days if everything will be okay...
