Hi everyone!
My sister, Kelli, and I are anxiously counting down the days until she meets Cindy (chattiesmom) at the Atlanta airport to bring Gracie home on Dec. 12th. This has been the longest three weeks since Kelli talked with Cindy last Wednesday (one week ago) about adopting Gracie. I want the time to go faster!!

Gracie was spayed yesterday by Cindy's Dr. Amy. Kelli felt more comfortable having Cindy's vet do the surgery since Cindy has great faith in her. Lulu's breeder had her spayed before I got her so I didn't have experience with a vet other than shots and annual checkups. Cindy picked Gracie up this morning and said she was raring to go!!

Kelli is getting everything ready for Gracie's homecoming and got her some warm pj's, a down vest (weather is cold here in the winter) and a Christmas sweater that will match Lulu's plus is in the process of getting all the essentials.

We are so excited we can't sit still and hope the time until Dec. 12th goes fast! Kelli loves to take pictures and always does great with Lulu's pictures (one of hers is going to be in the calendar!) so I am sure she will take a bunch at the airport and when she gets home.

For those of you familiar with Chizzie's six pack, please help us pass the time quickly until Dec. 12th!!

Sounds like little Gracie, is going to live the life of a pampered princess. She was my favourite, out of the whole pack, and that is saying a lot because they all have such sweet faces. Hope the time passes quickly for you.

I can't get them to post at this time. Maybe if Cindy stops by, she will post them for me and Kelli.

Colleen, after all of our emails and talking with your sweet sister, Kelli on the phone, I think I am as excited about Gracie "leaving the nest" and going home with her new Mom as you and Kelli are to have her come live "up north".

I am totally convinced that Little Ms. Gracie will be PRINCESS Gracie! I am so excited that another furbaby will "remain in the family" and I will get to watch her grow and mature.

I can tell you that major surgery didn't slow this little girl down one little bit. From the time I picked her up at the vet to now, she is "back to normal - or she thinks she is, anyway. To keep her quiet

I wound up putting her in the play pen - she doesn't see a problem with running and rough housing with her brothers and sisters, but I DO! So until next Thursday when she gets her stitches out your little neice is on play pen restrictions with a bit of strongly supervised play.

Two weeks from today I pick up Kelli and Gracie (along with my Mom) at the airport!! I can't wait!!!

I am waiting by the mailbox today to see what arrives from what we ordered Gracie.

I know she is going to be treated like a princess. I can tell. I am so glad to see she is doing well after her surgery. I think all of us that have one of the six pack are very fortunate. They are all very precious babies.

That is the way I feel too--those that adopted one of the six are very lucky. I know when Kelli saw pictures of your Barney and Tracy's Bella, it made her want Gracie all the more since yours were so cute.

Ohh I didn't see this till now... I'll join in the countdown for my precious Gracie finally getting her forever home. I'm so pleased she's found one at last.

Well, it is snowing today!! Gracie's new Fido Fleece jacket came today so she will be ready for the weather here. We are still SO excited that we can't sit still.

Lulu doesn't like even stepping in the snow so it is lucky that she goes potty in the litter box.

10 more days until Dec. 12th!!

Woo Hoo!!! 9 more days to go!! Today Gracie's matching pillow bed and blanket came that we ordered from Paula (diggy4). It is great and we are hoping that Gracie loves it. My sister Kelli just has to get some dog food and then she should be all ready for Gracie next Friday!!
